Boris Vallejo is one of the best-known living Sci-Fi/Fantasy artists. It wouldn't be quite correct to say that he was part of the next generation of fantasy painters to come after Frank Frazetta, but it would be as close a summary of his style, subject matter, and chronology as it is possible to give in a few words. What fantasy artists as a group, and these two men in particular, have to offer is great visual imagination combined with impressive drawing skills. They both draw the human figure extremely well, with Vallejo perhaps venturing further into the realm of pure erotica than Frazetta. Vallejo's detailed knowledge of human anatomy as well as his artistic interest in the human musculature is clearly on display here in this fine painting.

Of course, upon seeing a well-drawn female figure, Doctor Cylon's first impulse is to add some spanking to it. Here, the animated paddle comes into play to good effect. We don't recognize this 1996 work, but then we're not experts, and it's hard to keep track of all of Vallejo's impressive output. For a fairly complete catalog of his works, see The Borisography.
