Chicago Spanking Review

Feeling No Pain

Newspaper and Magazine Gallery

Another spanking in an unknown magazine now as we continue our mini-series of contributions from Alan (Ahonda on the CSR Bulletin Board). This magazine is in color, which reduces the possibilities somewhat, but we still can't positively identify it. Is it Family Circle? Look? McCall's? The only way we'll ever know is if someone else posts this scene with that context.

So what's going on with this story entitled "Feeling No Pain"? It appears that Pete and Albert are rivals for Judy's affections, and that Pete just had a bad tooth removed. Not a very promising beginning for a work of literature, which this obviously isn't ("Judy was greeted by Albert's scream of pain...'Stop it!' Judy shouted. 'This instant!'" We're glad we didn't write that.) The best part is certainly Pete deciding to spank Judy, but we really didn't need to see him biting Albert for some ridiculous reason, and while the title seems to refer to the anasthetized Pete as "feeling no pain" that description could apply equally to our spankee Judy, who seems to be laughing (or is that crying?). That's not how it's supposed to be, folks! Plengy of heat and sting for Judy's rear would be Dr. Web-Ed's prescription, and while we're at it, how about a new boyfriend to replace Pete and Albert.

Good OTK positioning is wasted as an onlooker in a blue sports coat named Albert is "feeling more pain" than Judy the spankee. Screen print of an unknown magazine page taken by Alan from the internet. Art by Casey Jones. Posted by the Web-Ed on 03/24/2023 (click to increase in size).

Although we don't know the magazine, the artist is Casey Jones, and the problem with researching him is that there is a much younger comics artist of the same name. What little we found out comes because of Motor magazine of all things: there's a reference to Jones as the cover artist of its December 1964 issue on Second Chance Garage. Interestingly, the writer characterizes Jones as a "Good Girl Artist" and we must say he puts Judy in good OTK position and gives her a nice round rear end that simply needed some more vigorous whacks than it received from 31-tooth-Pete there.

As for the writer, William Bruckner, we think he was writing screenplays and teleplays during the 1940s - 1960s, which is the same period Casey Jones was active. This may have been his only spanking scene, and if we discover otherwise we won't keep it a secret.
