The East has its spanking traditions just as the West does, but we must admit we don't
know very much about them. It looks like the spankee is required to put her hands and feet through loops of rope on a horizontal
cross (not a St. Andrew's cross, it should be noted) while the spanker whacks away with what appears to be a very long,
hand-carved paddle.
Are these tourists visiting an ancient temple? Is this a venerable Buddhist ritual or something? We think not, but at least
the boy (and his mother?) seem to be having fun, while the spankee seems to be wriggling around and feeling the sting -
the basic ingredients of a successful spanking in any culture.
