Eighth O.T. Katie thread

I'm temporarily interrupting my Futuregirl story to post one about Katie.

In an earlier story, Katie's father had hired Bullmoose to manage his bookstore. That was back in 1994.

In 2020, Bullmoose still manages the bookstore, and Katie is now the owner.

I really enjoy the premise Shoplifters will be Spanked is a great beginning. I always enjoy Marie's outfits and I really like her otk.her musings after getting spanked were great as well. I do wonder about the age thing the clerk said about how old the owner is as in comic book years she can not age and it several decades can go by and still have maybe aged a year or two. As always I really enjoy your coloring and your word

Well, sort of... An ironbark paddle will be used, and Katie is going to have a sore bum (like she almost always does!), but the paddle won't be used on her this time.

Bullmoose will probably give the manager a bonus.

Actually, Bullmoose IS the manager of Katie's store. Katie's father hired Bullmoose to manage the store (and Katie too), and then he passed ownership of the store to his daughter. So, there's an unusual balance of power at Katie's bookstore. She's the owner, and makes all the hiring decisions, except that Bullmoose is sort of "grandfathered in" and she can't fire him. AND... ever since her father hired him, he has the authority to spank her whenever she needs it.

She's angry about a man in her store, claiming to be an employee, even though she didn't hire him. And on top of that, he didn't believe her when she tried to tell him that she's the store's owner!

The spanking he gave her was totally unjustified.

Actually, the next one will be mostly set-up for the conclusion. (Sort of like the second Star Wars movie was) But, don't worry, Katie will certainly be getting spanked again by the time this is all over.

I'm glad you like it. Of course, the idea of spanking pretty shoplifters has been used before, but I tried to give it a little bit of a different twist.

Marie? A typo maybe? Although I have a character named Marie that has appeared in some of Katie's spy stories. She's the hair and make-up person who disguises the agents.

I do wonder about the age thing the clerk said about how old the owner is as in comic book years she can not age and it several decades can go by and still have maybe aged a year or two.

There are a few real-life women who don't seem to age as rapidly as everyone else does. But, as a comic character, Katie is more like Blondie Bumstead or Lois Lane. When I first started drawing Katie in 2001, I thought of her as being a 25-year-old. Now, after 19 years, she should be 44, but she still looks like a twenty-something.

As always I really enjoy your coloring and your word balloons.

Tnanks for the compliment on the coloring. That's something I put some time and effort into. I want the colors to look just right... especially the reddening of Katie's bottom. I make it a little brighter than a real-life spankee's bottom would get... but I don't want to go too far and make it look like she's bloody.
