Here's a link to the first story in which the Armstrong-Xmidh hybrid clone appears:

The short explanation is that an alien abducted Katie and Bullmoose, persuaded Katie to repair the cloning machine that was aboard her ship, and extracted some DNA from Bullmoose. The reason for that was: there were no more males of the alien's race, and she was using Bullmoose's X-chromosome to make a male for herself.

The alien also planned to take over the earth and enslave the human population, but the hybrid clone had a human conscience, so he refused to help her subjugate the earth. And... he gave the alien woman a good spanking!

The reason I call the alien race "Xmidh" is that the spelling looks weird, but it's pronounced like "Smith".

Elaine is a look-alike descendant of Katie's, from the distant future. She's also an inept time-cop, who frequently gets spanked for her mistakes by her supervisor, the Clean-up Man. (Or, should I say her former supervisor?)

I hope that makes things less confusing.

Yeah. I get that.

The main point of all my O.T. Katie stories has always been that Katie either does something naughty... or is falsely accused of being naughty, and she gets a spanking.

I quickly ran out of short gags that I could put into three or four panels, and started writing longer stories. Sometimes I had an actual plot, and other stories turned into sort of a rambling "flow of consciousness" kind of thing. I like sci-fi, and so, sometimes I incorporate some sci-fi elements, like time-travel or space aliens. But even when my stories go off on some really wild tangents, there will be one constant: Sooner or later, Katie is going to get a spanking.

I introduced Clorene, Delores, Elaine, and Lila to the "Katieverse" so that occasionally Katie gets to gloat while some other woman is the one who gets spanked. But inevitably, Katie's turn comes around again.

Also, when I first put Elaine into a story, I said she was a distant descendant of Katie's... which is why I had to come up with Kaylyn. She has to have a daughter or a son in order for a distant descendant to exist. Right?

I hope this additional explanation helps with making sense of my stories.

The Scarlet Asp, huh? I hadn't thought about her for a while. She was a clone that Katie had made of herself, who went rogue. Do you think she needs to make a return appearance?

Of course the pun of her name works better in the U.S. where we spell "arse" as "ass".

Okay. As long as I'm still able to draw and post my O.T. Katie strips, she's going wind up getting turned over some guy's knee! Her husband, her boss, that police officer that patrols her neighborhood, the Clean-up Man, and even the Xmidh-Armstrong hybrid clone are all looking for any excuse they can find to give Katie a spanking!

And, knowing Katie, they won't have to look too hard to find the excuse they want.

I am aware of the alternate spelling. In one of Katie's sketches where she was at a fancy dress party and a woman was dressed as Cleopatra I asked if somebody spanked Cleopatra's asp. I just would not like one of Dizzie Lizzie's descendant (even in a clone state) to be missing out on her share of spankings.
