She really has no reason to be jealous. Bullmoose is clearly in love with her. If anyone else happens to get spanked in one of her stories, the other girl might become the center of attention temporarily. But ultimately, the focus always shifts back to Katie's lovely round backside!

I'm working on a story for "Romantic Spanking Month" that will put Katie back in the spotlight... (And back over Bullmoose's knee of course! )

I was just thinking about Elaine's name. In the '60s there was a singer whose real name was Elaine McFarlane. She was known professionally as "Spanky". She was the front-person of a band called "Spanky and Our Gang". I wasn't thinking of the singer when I named my time-travelling character... but it might have been a subconscious influence.

Elaine is not a rare name although it is not as common as it used to be. I had an older cousin named Elaine who was born before World War II.

Elaine McFarlane admitted the nickname was from child actor George "Spanky" McFarland of "Our Gang" fame. George got his nickname from the late 19th century when intelligent children were describes as being spanky. Slang changes over time. If Elaine McFarlane is still alive she would be in her late 70s now.

I hope so too. I enjoyed her music back in the day. I think she gave a lot of happiness to her fans.

Having turned 13 in 1960 the 60s were the time I really started listening to music. American music of that time seemed mostly The Beach Boys and similar music. I dug English groups like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Animals.
