Why? Part of it is that she considers him to be a challenge. But I think she really wants to take something away that belongs to Katie.

Hmmm... I hadn't thought about that. I've never given much thought to Karen's job, other than it would be in jeopardy if her college degree was revoked. If she does lose her degree, maybe she will have to go to work at Blah=Mart.
