She's not becoming the boss of the whole agency. If her promotion goes through, she'll only be the boss of the redaction department. When the current head of redaction retires, she'll either be alone in the department, or at most, she'll have only one assistant. Burns will still have the authority to spank her whenever he can come up with any half-assed excuse to do so. Spankings from other men in the agency can still happen if Burns permits it.

Away from the job, it will still be spankings as usual.

I just checked and realized that I got my date/day correlation wrong for 2022. The fifth of August was on a Friday, not a Saturday. and I checked my posts for that year and discovered that she only skipped ONE year of birthday spankings from her co-workers at S.P.A.N.K. But still... they aren't going to let her slide THIS YEAR!

I also noticed that the only mention of two birthdays being skipped was something that her retiring supervisor said. Maybe he's getting forgetful in his old age (like me!).

This year, the fifth of August will be on a Monday. Katie will have to show up for work.

I'm with Solsunbeach on that one, and have full confidence that Katie's male colleagues will indeed remedy that lamentable situation. After all, it wouldn't be fair to Katie to ignore her birthdays .

We have two solid comic plot elements here: first, Katie must bend over the files, that venerable gag (I've got a few more of them we'll see in a future "Spanking Positions"), to retrieve her own personnel record, and second, for her unauthorized redaction of said record, there can be but one penalty, and we all know what that is . (And if we didn't, Burns reminds us by spanking Katie (again)).

I'm with Solsunbeach on that one, and have full confidence that Katie's male colleagues will indeed remedy that lamentable situation. After all, it wouldn't be fair to Katie to ignore her birthdays .

I mistakenly said that they had missed her birthday rwo years in a row. Actually, it was only one. Last year, her birthday was on a Saturday, and she didn't have to go to work... in fact, she didn't leave the house that day. The only lucky guy that got to give Katie a birthday spanking last year was her husband, Bullmoose. This year, the fifth of August will be on a Monday, and the boss will do all he can to NOT let Katie have ANY excusses to miss work that day! This year, the boys at S.P.A.N.K. are going to make sure that Katie gets a birthday spanking from each and every one of them!

Yes! There is the "bend over and reach for a file in the bottom drawer" gag. (I think the files are arranged in a way that all the files she ever has to reach for are in bottom drawers! )

And, of course, since the main theme is Katie getting spanked, she had to violate some rule of the department!

I'm glad you like this one. Yes, Katie will be forty-eight this year and the boys at S.P.A.N.K. can hardly wait!

And maybe, the retiring head of the redaction department might not have to wait. Will he be allowed to give her a birthday spanking five months before her actual birthday? I'll be posting the next episode soon.

I don't think she'll be counting swats during her next spanking... but I might have to incorporate that into a future story.

Lent? Hmmm... I hadn't thought about Lent. I wasn't raised Catholic. and our church didn't observe Lent. Maybe somebody will have to celebrate Palm Sunday by putting his palm across Katie's backside.

I wonder what Katie would give up if she decided to observe Lent?

It would be a major sacrifice if the guys had to give up spanking Katie.

The big thing when I was a child back in the 1950s was not eating sweets (candy to you) during Lent. Putting them away until Easter. Perhaps the girls could raid their candy reserves (particularly the chocolates) and be caught and punished..
