Yes, Julie Newmar was a wonderful Catwoman but alas she was never spanked on the
Batman TV show. By the way, I found out not long ago that when she was being fitted for that memorable cat suit, it was she who insisted that the wardrobe department tighten up the fit, even though one of the wardrobe girls whispered to her that if they did that, her panty lines might be visible through it
! But Julie's instincts were correct as always, and she worked hard on perfecting the role.
I believe she's the last of the Special Guest Villains still alive after nearly 60 years, but then of course veterans like Cesar Romero (Joker), David Wayne (Mad Hatter), and Vincent Price (Egghead) were middle-aged even then.
