Just remembered a newspaper comic strip I once saw.
Back in the 80s I think newspapers ran a comic strip called Lancelot(nothing to do with King Arthur). It was a young modern couple called Lance and Lori.
As I remember one time Lori was complaining to him about him not doing enough for her, not giving her this or that.
She kept repeating stuff about what her father always did. The final panel showed her over his lap in the classic spanking position, and him saying "I bet your father did this sometimes too." Believe there was a painstar above her bottom even.
Admit I was totally surprised to see that one, as by that time comic strip spankings had seemed to be a thing of the past.
Something I suppose to keep an eye out for, no idea of date.
Btw, saw a spanking fake from "Sally Forth", a similar comic strip once too, can't recall source now.

Re: Spanking in Lancelot comic
Thanks for bringing Lancelot to my attention. I'll add it to the search list. It's going to be tough to find, though, especially with that name, which will bring in a huge amount of extraneous results on every internet search. Sally Forth might be a little easier.
