Katie's cherry red bottom goes nicely with the multitude of stars also . i believe agent Burns is actually winking at us in panel 613 as Katie complains about the bumps on the way back. i'll be waiting to see what happens when they get back to headquarters . thanks, phil

Thanks for being the first to comment on my newest addition to the O.T. Katie "saga". I appreciate that you're usually the first and almost always the most thorough to comment on any of my offerings.

Maybe it's Dumas... I think he might possibly be related to the enemy agent in the last spy story I did.

Yeah. Even though I only showed one panel of the spanking Scottie gave her, it actually lasted quite a while! Scottie has a lot of stamina for a man his age!

I sort of ripped off (or perhaps you could say i did an homage of) an old joke about two campers and a bear that was chasing them. The idea of having the dog grab the seat of someone's pants to restrain them was my own idea. Of course, we see what happens when the dog tries to grab the thinly-stretched fabric of the outfit Katie is wearing! Heh heh! And maybe the intense heat emanating from her glowing red hiney further weakened the fibers too!

I think Agent Burns has at least two very good reasons to give Katie a nice long spanking. First of all there's the fact that he knows he's accountable to Argyle for her mistake that cost them the mission. He's going to make her pay with a literal spanking for the verbal spanking he's anticipating. And, of course, for Burns, being a male agent, a verbal spanking is all he'll get from Argyle. (Don't worry! There'll be no M/M scenes in this story!) In addition to that, there's the tempting target she's been flashing in his face every time she turns her back on him! What red-blooded American man would pass up a chance to turn Katie over his knee if she gave him an viable excuse?

Yes! I'm glad you saw that! Agent Burns is winking at the audience, because he knows that you know that he's deliberately hitting every bump on that bumpy road on their way back to town! The only thing that might've made it even worse for Katie would've been if the sun had been shining on those car seats! Wooo hooo! But this part of the story takes place at night, fortunately for her.

And I don't think it will be too much of a spoiler to say that Katie can expect AT LEAST one more spanking when she gets back to S.P.A.N.K. headquarters. Will it be Argyle who spanks her? Or maybe Dave, the surveillance guy? Both? Stay tuned!

I think this spanking is fully justified, for all the reasons Agent Burns mentioned, but then maybe I'm slightly biased .

I still have one question though: how did Scottie MacHottie wind up with The Black Bird in the first place?

Yeah. I wanted it to be big enough to show what it was. But you're absolutely right. If it was solid wrought iron, it would be way to heavy for one man to carry. Even if it was hollow, it would be pretty heavy. However, as you say, artistic license! Or maybe Agent Burns is incredibly strong... Nah! I'll just go along with artistic license!

I was thinking about a couple of comments Dan made regarding the cat burglar outfit i've got Katie wearing for this story. He referred to it as leather once and latex another time. Some of you who read my comics but don't post to this forum (Shame on you!) might've had the same misconception... This is probably what you had in mind...

According to Argyle, Delores likes to flaunt her feminine curves, and so Katie had to wear something that was sheer and a couple of sizes too small so that the fabric would be stretched to its limit. If this woman got spanked wearing what she has on, we'd definitely be able to see the redness!

The jacket she's wearing and the purse she's carrying would seem to suggest that she's on her way to work at an office somewhere. If that's the case, I defy any of the men to get any work done! "Miss jones, get me that file from the bottom drawer please. Uh, no that's not the one I want. Put it back. On second thought, maybe it is the one I want. Go get it again. Miss Jones! You've violated company dress code five times this week. Those tights are clearly inappropriate for the workplace and they're distracting all the men from performing their duties! While it's true that Katie's legs are complertely covered, they are still visible, as they would be with winter-weight pantyhose or dance tights. If you're not seeing her that way, maybe the dark/light contrast on your monitor needs a little adjustment. I hope this "clarifies" things.

But she is such a klutz, I have to believe that one of the reasons the leaders of S.P.A.N.K. utilize her as often as they do, is because they know in their heart of hearts that she will provide them with multiple excuses to spank her!

B00m, what I'm about to say may seem like adverse criticism, but please remember: I do appreciate you and your wonderful talent for creating all these spanking stories, and then fleshing them out as cartoons for all of us to enjoy.

Now then: I do realize that a spanking artist must create viable reasons to spank the girl. Sometimes the reasons for a spanking are plausible (example: the spanking received by "Katherine" in Kiss Me Kate (1948,1953); while othertimes the excuse to spank seems a bit thin, such as the walloping received by Maggie Gyllenhaal in Secretary (2002). Yes, yes, of course I enjoyed watching Maggie get spanked by James Spader, but in my heart I knew that a secretary making typing mistakes on a letter would not, in RL, be a good reason to blister her butt.

That said, I wanna let you know that I have always appreciated your skill in depicting Katie and the spankings she gets. But let us all -- and I do mean ALL -- who love to spank pretty girls, know where to draw the line.

In my humble opinion, the spankings that Katie receives en route to her latest adventure are all motivated by proper reasons (Well, maybe some of them are a little shaky... ) right up to the point where you seem to take great pleasure from her bumpy ride back to headquarters. Sure, it's funny and it's cute when you get to put a pretty woman over your lap and just whale away at her backside. But to then force her to sit in a rickety Jeep and deliberately drive her over a bumpy road, with the driver making sure she suffers from every little bump... Sorry, b00m, but I call that sadism.

Now, on to Katie's catburglar outfit: You are right, I once referred to it as leather and again as latex. But now you are saying it is neither. Is it some kind of body suit made of the same material that goes into pantyhose? Doesn't seem that an outfit like that could adequately protect the gal who wears it, especially if she is involved in some sort of physical exertion. But whatever....

In this "Black Bird" scenario, my favorite scenes are the ones that show a spanking underway. That said, I would appreciate more of them. Yes, I realize that you are trying to make room for the story, but what we like best are the spanks. Early on, we see Mr. Argyle spank Katie in multiple panels; but he spanks Marie in only one panel, and Dave gets to spank Katie in only one panel as well. Later on, Scottie MacHottie spanks Katie twice, but they are both single-panel shows.

In all, b00m, I've got to hand it to you, for producing so many quality panels. Hopefully, you will soon put Katie into a dress... so we can see her legs, her panties, and her classic OTKatie look.

Yeah. Other than the original premise in the first story that she looks like Delores (except for her hair color) and is easy to disguise, I think the main reason Argyle keeps her around is that he's looking forward to his next chance to chastise her for a major blunder.

Sometimes adverse criticism is needed. I take note of what you don't like, keeping in mind that there are probably readers out there who are thinking the same thing you are, but don't bother to express their views. Also, criticism is easier to take when it is presented in in a polite way. You never insult me. Rather, you just present the facts as you see them.

I can see your point there, and I'd certainly not do that to a woman in real life. Spankings are supposed to make a woman's buttocks feel hot and tingly, whereas the bumpy ride in the jeep would most likely ache. But I believe that there are more liberties that can be taken with cartoon characters than real people (or even actors in a movie). And she did bring a pillow along!

The idea here is that Delores, the enemy spy that Katie is supposed to be impersonating is somewhat of an exhibitionist... As Argyle puts it, she enjoys flaunting her feminine curves. And you're right... the outfit does not provide adequate protection. That's why it gave way so easily when the dog grabbed it... and why she felt every bit of the spankings she's gotten while wearing that outfit. But I know that you don't like her outfit. Does anyone? I thought it was something really sexy for her to wear. Tight and almost transparent. I'd like to know what the rest of you think.

But I promise. Before the story is over, Katie will be wearing skirt again. I'm not quite through with the burglar outfit yet, but be patient.

Part of that is a limitation with certain backgrounds. Usually, when I do multiple panels of the same spanking, I like to circle around the characters, showing them from different angles. I have a few backgrounds that I've only made one side of. Showing the spanking from different angles would require different angles of the background too, and I just got lazy. Later in the story, I'll have some spankings that are more than one panel... but I'm also going to do a few more that are only one. I suppose you can take solace in the fact that this story contains A LOTOF SPANKINGS! There are more to come.

Hiya b00m... Your panel no. 708 is the best one in this story, so far. Here, we can see our Katie properly positioned across Mr. Argyle's lap, receiving a hard handspanking, right smack on her already-blazing derriere. Good show. In your comments, you say: "Hmmm, is anyone keeping count?" Well, I count FOUR onomatopoeiac "swats," so I'm guessing that at that point, Katie has received only four spanks.

I like the way you have Katie breaking the fourth wall, and speaking directly to us, the audience. You've used this technique before, and I appreciate that you use it sparingly. But here, little Katie's pleas will be for naught. She says to us:

"You don't really want to see me get spanked again... do you?"

Au contraire, Katie dear... Your spankings are the very best part of b00m's stories. I for one would like to see you get spanked even more often.

I recognize that YOU, b00m, are using reverse psychology in having your heroine plead with us to NOT reward your efforts by commenting. Well, as you know, we all love Katie and would probably do anything she asks... except this! If more viewer comments would fuel a continuation of good, hard handspanks on Katie's tender tushy, then I plan to comment every time we see her getting a good, hard spanking over some guy's knee.
