A Fifth O.T. Katie Thread

hi Boom,

i like the way Katie's bouncing,glowing backside is lighting their way, even from behind, as they report back to headquarters in panel 702 . nice drawings too of Katie continuing to rub her bottom in the next 3 panels. i particularly like the one where she is facing away from us ............and Katie gets promoted.........right before she gets a spanking . does this mean the agent Burns will now not get to spank Katie? if so, that's what he's probably most upset about. i always like Katie getting led off for a spanking as she is in panel 706....bottom bouncing and sweating as her face gives away her dread of what's coming . i got a big laugh from Katie's appeal in panel 707..........as well as the somewhat less than totally hopeful expression on her face the grin on Argyle's face says that he knows no one is going to skip the next panel . i love Katie's OTK position in panel 708. she just looks so appealing, kicking her legs, with her cute, chubby shiny, red spank spot sticking out of that catsuit ...........and just LOOK at all those stars . i also like the viewing angle in panel 709 . i swear that i can almost see her smarting bottom wiggling as Argyle applies her punishment .............and he sends her off with a pat to see Dave . i think we all know what Dave is going to do about all that equipment . i'll be looking forward to the next episode. thanks, phil

Thank you, Dan and Overbarrel, for being the first to comment on my latest addition to The Black Bird.

Your panel no. 708 is the best one in this story, so far. Here, we can see our Katie properly positioned across Mr. Argyle's lap, receiving a hard handspanking, right smack on her already-blazing derriere. Good show. In your comments, you say: "Hmmm, is anyone keeping count?" Well, I count FOUR onomatopoeiac "swats," so I'm guessing that at that point, Katie has received only four spanks.

I'm glad you like this one. BTW, when I asked if anyone was keeping count, I meant for the whole story so far. In less than twenty-four hours, Katie got a spanking from Mr. Argyle, two from Dave, another from Mr. Argyle, one from Scottie MacHottie, one from Agent Burns, and last for now, but certanly not last for the story, another spanking from Mr. Argyle.

I like the way you have Katie breaking the fourth wall, and speaking directly to us, the audience. You've used this technique before, and I appreciate that you use it sparingly. But here, little Katie's pleas will be for naught. She says to us:

"You don't really want to see me get spanked again... do you?"

Au contraire, Katie dear... Your spankings are the very best part of b00m's stories. I for one would like to see you get spanked even more often.

Poor Katie! She should know better than to seek sympathy from her audience! And, as you can probably guess, she's not done getting spanked yet!

That's what I'd be upset about if I was in his place. He must be glad he took advantage of the opportunity to spank her while he still had the authority to do so!

It appears that Katie's plea fell on deaf ears, as far as you and Dan are concerned. Heh heh! When I draw her, I'm always hoping that she'll appeal to the audience... but I don't mean in that way!

I was pleased by your discussion of Katie's catsuit and your highly educational examples of models wearing transparent ones, which will only reinforce this forum's reputation as a scholarly resource, this time focusing on the benefits of nylon/spandex (I almost wrote "spankex") as clothing material - it reminded me a little of my own disquisition on ladies lingerie a while back .

Now on to episode 7: while it was not unexpected that Katie would somehow be subjected to further spankings , I think it was a very funny idea to have her promoted over Agent Burns, only to then be held responsible as supervising agent for the very foul-up she had caused when she was only a junior agent! This is a prime example of the unique kind of humor, difficult to put into words, that is typical of O. T. Katie. The only similar examples that come to mind are the occasional Benny Hill sketch, where after a character (usually male) is subjected to all sorts of physical abuse, there is some kind of crowning insult at the very end, such as another character assuming he's drunk when in fact he's been knocked unconscious. As I said, it's difficult to describe.

As to the art, I liked seeing four consecutive panels (3 - 6) of Katie rubbing her behind, not to mention the subsequent OTK position where Katie lives up to her nickname. Of some interest is Mr. Argyle managing to convince Katie that she deserves her spanking - it is a fact that if you can convince a woman she deserves a spanking, all her feelings of guilt come to the surface and she will consent to actually being spanked, by which I mean she won't protest at being turned OTK. This will even work with some women who aren't at all into spanking. Usually, this would take place as part of the pre-spanking lecture, but a comic strip is of necessity a somewhat compact form, and you can't waste too much time with a panel that has no action other than a lecture.

Finally, another word about comments: I just checked, and 39 people came to CSR so far in August by searching on the phrase "ot katie". No, we don't have 39 people commenting, and I've gone over the likely reasons before so I won't repeat them again except to mention the difficulties involved in joining this board. I really wish I could make it easier, but I still have over 500 spambots per week who manage to solve the captcha and register! If they were allowed to post immediately, I'd spend my whole life cleaning up their spam. So for now we're stuck with the primitive "send me an email to activate your membership" approach.

I'm glad you saw my little explanation as scholarly and educational. One more point I might repeat is that her outfit might not look as transparent on somebody else's monitor as it did on mine while I was making my pictures. If that's the case, some of you may need to fiddle around with your dark/light contrast controls a little bit.

I'm glad you liked that little twist. It was sort of a late addition to the story. (Not quite as late as the dog attack, which I came up with after I was completely done, and had to re-do several panels to incorporate that idea. But now, there are two spankings already... and more to come... that were originally done on the seat of her cat burglar outfit that I had to change, in order to accommodate her bare bottom peeking out of the big torn-out hole. Oooh! How em-BARE-ASS-ing! Heh heh! )

Yes. It's too bad that it's so easy for spambots to register and so hard for actual people to sign on, but that's just how it is. I'm glad that you and Dan and Overbarrel have all put in your two cents. The three of you usually give me some specific information about what you did and didn't like, so that I can know what to do even more of, and what could use some improvement.

And, as I said earlier, I don't think it's a "spoiler" if I announce that Katie is going to get AT LEAST one more spanking before I'm done. Dave has to hold her accountable for the equipment that she and Agent Burns left on Scottie MacHottie's rooftop, doesn't he?

hi Boom,

i got a laugh from Dave's eager reaction to watching Katie get spanked by the boss in panel 802..............not that his reaction was a big surprise or anythin . there are a couple of nice shots in panel 803........one of Katie rubbing her thoroughly spanked bottom and the other of the aforementioned bottom bouncing along as she walks toward her next spanking . and her bottom is REALLY bouncing in panel 804 under Dave's hand Katie seems to be really squalling too which is understandable considering all those stars . from the monitors i notice that even the surveillance room is under surveillance..............or perhaps Dave is just making some "home movies" to enjoy later . in panel 805 i like the shot of Katie rubbing her sore bottom .........as well as the goofy grin on Dave's face . it's interesting that Katie knew Dave was gonna spank her but is still surprised when he sends her on her way with a pat on her backside.........probably just warming his hands up . I see Katie is happy that she won't get a spanking from Marie...........she seems to have it all figured out as her shiny hiney bounces along on her way in panel 806 . i like the way Marie is holding her bottom in anticipation in panel 807. i like the heat radiating from Katies well spanked bottom too . Katie's expression says it all in panel 808 . i have to admit that Marie DOES seem enthusiastic about the pending spanknigs . i like the way she is following meekly behind Dave on the way to her spanking in panel 810-) . again, Katie's expression gives us her viewpoint nicely . i like the way the girls are facing each other when they are OTK . you have definitely given us a study in contrast between the 2 girls here . i love the shot of Marie happily walking away in panel 812 as she rubs her chubby spank spot..........knowing full well that Dave is both watching and enjoying what he sees . nice twist at the end . our boy, Dave seems a bit surprised although i have a hunch it won't take him long to recognize bratting for a spanking . i'll be eagerly awaiting the next episode . thanks, phil

Marie is the kind of masochist that warms any sadist's heart while he warms her arse. Katie is a confused innocent who does not know how to avoid a blistered bum and just accepts a spanking as a risk she takes in waking up of a morning.

In episode 8, we're presented with a contrast: Marie the classic brat who wants to be spanked, versus Katie the innocent dupe who doesn't want to be spanked but is destined to wind up repeatedly OTK due to her own foul-ups and the desires of the men around her. It is fitting that Marie's bratting (when she refers to Argyle as "old") results in Katie getting spanked harder - that's the kind of thing that always happens to Katie. Marie is fun, but it's Katie who provides the humor. As for Dave, we'll see if he picks up on Marie's dropping of the hat.

Visually, I think the most interesting panel may have been the one in which Dave is spanking Katie, all the while recording the incident for future use ! On the monitor, we get to see the actual impact shot which in the foreground is partly obscured by the impact-indicator.
