![]() The Scooby-Doo gang have meddled once too often in the affairs of masked villains, and Velma and Daphne must pay the price for their interference! Commission for SpAnka by artist Alt-Cor. Scooby-Doo and the gang are © Warner Bros. Entertainment. Posted by the Web-Ed on 11/01/2024. |
In the original (and best) incarnation of Scooby-Doo (1969-70), a successful formula was employed: the gang investigates a mysterious ghost or legendary creature, in the end unmasking him as a villain who was trying to scare people away from a given area for some nefarious purpose. Now in the custody of the local law, the unmasked villain would always say something like, "It was a good scheme, and I would have gotten away with it if not for you meddling kids".
Well, it occurred to SpAnka to wonder what would
happen if the villain or villains triumphed over the gang - might they not spank the girls? Of course they might! That's
what we would do in their place, after all. So she commissioned this scene from
Alt-Cor, also well-known to CSR readers. He
does a fine job with the idea, and it looks like Daphne and Velma will have to do their investigating standing up for awhile.
