Kid Flash was one of those innumerable teen-age sidekicks who turned up throughout the Golden Age and, in this case, the Silver Age of comics (the Golden Age Flash managed without a sidekick). When the Silver Age Flash was killed off in Crisis on Infinite Earths, he took over as the new Flash. We're not going to trace his history any further here since it suffices to note that he was a member of the Teen Titans, thus qualifying for inclusion in this Teen Titans mini-series. Whichever Kid Flash this may be, he's well-equipped to deliver a super-speed spanking.
The spankee is Jinx, an Honorary Titan who goes out with Kid Flash. She made her debut in Tales of the Teen Titans #56 but was completely re-engineered for animation into the character we see here with pink hair and eyes. Not recognizing her at first, we thought her appearance might just be some crazy fad the kids are into these days. Fads may come and go, but spanking is eternal, and the artist Reks did a very nice job on this one - those super-speed swats are definitely having an effect on Jinx, who deserves them for being so jealous! Note the carefully-selected pink hue used to indicate the blushing of both sets of cheeks.
