Captain Woodshed, by Dan Rivera |
Recently we saw Dan Rivera's short strip Spanky Sal. Dan also did another strip called Captain Woodshed, who fights criminals by taking them to the woodshed! It's a little like Eliot Ness trading in his tommy gun for a spanking paddle, except that CW spanks the old-fashioned way - by hand. And speaking of hands, let's take a look at CW's headgear. |

Captain America's cowl had wings, leading to his being nicknamed "Winghead". | The golden age (Jay Garrick) Flash had a winged helmet like that of the god Mercury. | Captain Woodshed's cowl has hands in place of wings, inspired by the headgear of heroes like Captain America and Flash. |
We think you'll like the strip, presented in its entirety. It combines humor, super-heroes, and spanking - who could ask for anything more? Maybe Dan will do another one some day. Posted by the Web-Ed on 06/18/2010. |
