Now for the second of two cartoons in which the gag is that the guy can't remember what he's going to
spank the girl for but goes ahead with the spanking anyway. This one is by Wyatt (missing first or last
name unknown), an infrequent contributor to Humorama, and is his only known spanking cartoon. Nice startled
expression on the spankee's face and good OTK positioning with her head up and back arched, this is an
otherwise unexceptional "spanker" because Wyatt made her bottom too short and drew her cami-knickers as
if they were a half-slip, an error also sometimes committed by Kirk Stiles.
The date of this cartoon's first appearance is still unknown, but we have dated what we believe to be
its second and third appearances. The two versions immediately below are believed to have been taken
from two separate copies of the very same issue, the June 1965 Laugh Riot.

From Mike's collection, original source almost certainly the June 1965 issue of Laugh Riot.

Cover of the January 1972 issue of Fun House Comedy. This must have been very nearly the end
of the line for the Humorama digest-sized magazines, although their full-sized siblings would continue for
another 11 years. Scanned and posted by the Web-Ed on 09/21/2012 (click to double-size).
