This next pastiche does not seem to us to be in the particular visual style of any one of the Humorama "Big Six"
(Ward, Wenzel, Stiles, DeCarlo, Homer, and Morrice); however, it is in keeping with the general tone
of Humorama's humor. Our fortuneteller, after pulling up her skirt to reveal two "lucky" horseshoe patches
on her seat, confidently states that "I predict you'll be hitting a lucky patch soon, sir!" while the
customer-spanker's hand is visible in the foreground.
The fortune-teller's tent was the occasional setting for a few Humorama cartoons if we remember them correctly,
but there weren't any "spankers" among them. She doesn't seem at all troubled by the implications of her
prediction and is perhaps preparing to bend over the very table on which her crystal ball sits. An eager
spankee was characteristic only of Homer Provence among the "Big Six" so perhaps Tim had him in
mind when he did this one.
