The fourth spanking cartoon of Frencz (Art) Hurric from Sex to Sexty now, this one part of a feature in which a number of cartoons (six on a page) were accompanied by some rather weak verse. Astute readers will note that this verse is in limerick form, and it doesn't merit more analysis than that. Wife spanking is the subject, and it looks like both the husband's hand and the wife's behind are left stinging as a result. Hurric is a decent artist and probably one of the better ones published in Sex to Sexty. We'd have to rank him behind Bill Ward and Bill Wenzel, who were also arguably the #1 and #2 men at Humorama, and perhaps Jack Flynn, but he has shown himself capable of carrying on the noble tradition of the spanking cartoon. We found this in Super Sex to Sexty #7. As we believe that the "Super" designation indicated a collection of reprinted material, it may have appeared earlier in another issue. Once again we must thank D. D. Teoli Jr. for archiving so many issues of Sex to Sexty. |
