We've seen the work of Frencz (Art) Hurric twice before, with two uncle/niece spankings, Uncle Jake and Uncle George, the latter being the better of the two. The third of Hurric's four known spanking cartoons is like that one in that it recalls the great efforts of Dan DeCarlo at Humorama and this time in that wonderful sub-genre known as "The Secretary Spanking". Once again the startled secretary finds herself unexpectedly taken over her boss's knee for some vitally-needed office discipline while her spanking superior wears an expression of sheer delight not entirely in keeping with the spirit of strict justice.
We think this one is clearly modeled on DeCarlo's many examples of
careless secretaries experiencing accountability in the workplace, but with two notable differences: the
bared bottom, which is excellent but did not appear in Humorama until its late period and never in the work of
DeCarlo, and the use of a feather as a spanking implement. A feather? That's just lame-brained!
The hand or a small paddle should have been used instead - office discpline is a serious matter. |
Will these misbehaving secretaries never learn? Perhaps a good spanking on her nice round bare bottom with help her. A relatively late example (probably the early 1970s) of this classic genre with art by Frencz (Art) Hurric, discovered by Andre in Sex to Sexty #18 and posted by the Web-Ed on 04/12/2024 (click to increase in size). |
This cartoon first appeared in Sex to Sexty #18. Our records don't show where we found it, but we supect it was Andre at SPK. Later, we re-located it ourselves thanks to the scans of D. D. Teoli Jr., whose tireless efforts at archiving media from decades past have been responsible for the availability of most of the issues of Sex to Sexty that we have come across. Although various issues have turned up for sale, we would not have been able to locate these spanking cartoons that way as we don't have the time or money any more. |
