Too much going on to get to in one week, but let's start with this week's updates:
The Comic Strip Series continues with a new mini-series on Andre's finds over at
SPK comics. This week: two more spankings from
Apple Mary,
Spanking #2 and
Spanking #3!
I took the opportunity to do both updates this week because although they're both interesting, neither can be considered a great scene and because it really bothers me not to have been able to get more updates done in this, our 15th-Anniversary year. As I mentioned in the post above, I wasn't even able to finally present my expose on the true identity of "The Aces Artist".
Now on to Andre and SPK. I've mentioned
Andre a few times over the past year or so when I have complemented the finds of
CSR Chief Strip Researcher Phil Sweetspot 
with some of his. I should make clear that both men work independently and in fact using somewhat different methods (as far as I can determine) and of course both have made many important discoveries involving comic strip spankings and others that have appeared in various newspapers. In many cases they have discovered the same spanking, but again let me emphasize that they have done so independently. I think Andre was a little upset about some of the things I have written when discussing these discoveries, and I hope I've cleared things up by explaining that neither researcher has taken anything from the other (I wrote Andre a rather lengthy email last night hoping to straighten all this out - that's one email down and 250 to go!).
As to
SPK, Andre's Tumblr, I highly recommend it although I cannot provide a direct link here because of the two-link-per-post limit (see the Apple Mary spankings for a direct link). He's assembled a huge quantity of spankings there, especially from comic books and newspapers. I admit I did hold off a bit on blowing the horn for it simply because I thought it only fair to
Phil S. , who had to wait patiently week after week these past three (almost four) years for me to slowly reveal his many epochal newspaper strip discoveries one at a time. By this I mean I wanted CSR readers to see these new spankings for the first time here rather than at SPK. (Andre and Phil S. may have made many of their discoveries nearly simultaneously, but Andre is much faster than I am when it comes to posting them, partly of course because of the differences between a Tumblr (SPK) and a full-bore website (CSR)).
As usual, I've managed to turn a hiccup into
The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire 
, but in my own prolix fashion I've been trying very hard to do justice to both these fine researchers, Andre and Phil S., to whom spanko posterity will owe a large debt of gratitude for their many discoveries.
Next item: I have very nearly downloaded all of
Doctor Cylon's new material, and I do have a couple of related announcements to make, but given how long I've been going on already I really think that should wait for next week.
And speaking of Next Week: We will continue our
SPK Comics mini-series with the eighth spanking from
Captain Easy. And as an extra bonus attraction, we'll have some fiction from
Gesperax entitled "Area51 Spanking". We always thought the way to handle alien invaders (the female ones, anyway) was to spank them, but the government wouldn't listen!
