The next spanking in Ella Cinders took place in 1947. The spankee is another wealthy, spoiled brat whose father despairs of finding the proper treatment to bring her into line, obvious as that treatment is to us spankos. Here are CSR Chief Strip Researcher Sweetspot's notes:
"Note that although Dad declines to spank his too pretty and too big daughter she does indeed end up being spanked after all before the story is completed [1947 June 21 and 23]."

The reason for the spanking? Chiffon and her boys decided to "initiate" our three western travelers, Ella,
Patches, and the other guy by putting on a little melodrama to show the west was still wild. But having
brought up the idea of "hazing the new guys," Chiffon can hardly complain when they turn around and warm
her fanny! She's lucky they left their paddles back east 
.

This is a decent spanking scene, reasonably well-motivated (thrill-seeking rich girl ignores the feelings of other people) and with adequate but not great OTK positioning. It would have been improved if Chiffon's buttocks had been better defined with more pain stars surrounding them (there's one if you look carefully), a more-distressed expression, and some after-the-spanking rubbing.
