It's time for a serious disquisition on the subject of school corporal punishment in Mexico. The
Senate there in 2019 adopted a measure banning the practice in schools but its fate in the Chamber of
Deputies is unknown... What? You don't believe us? It's not like we would present a voyeuristic
look at a young adult student getting spanked, although we do have a couple of scans we think will
interest CSR readers. Let's see

STUDENT: Ahhhh!

We're not sure the pages are consecutive, but things seem to degenerate. The teacher gets really pervy here as he rather lovingly re-positions the student over his desk, then hand-spanks her somewhat ponderous buttocks. Apparently the writer and artist didn't know that bending the spankee over a desk usually means an implement is to be used, while hand-spanking is best done OTK.
TEACHER: Geez, my little girl, they look like teleras for Cuban cake. [We'd guess this means something like "Your buttocks look like cupcakes" - El Web-Edo]
STUDENT: [to herself] Follow him, the old man.
TEACHER: Come on Shorty, so you don't go around talking nonsense in the living room!
STUDENT: Owww! [to herself] Wrinkled beggar, I'm cold - owww!
"Shorty"? She's taller than he is! And that's a good thing, because while these Mexican comics can be crude, we haven't seen anything like kiddie porn in them (and we wouldn't reprint it in CSR if we had): the women are all young, certainly, but not underage. (See our recent postings Las Chambeadoras, The Alamo Kid, and The Horseman of Death which confirm this).
Overall this isn't a bad corporal punishment scene except that the teacher is too much of an old perv. Now, the idea that teachers and administrators enjoy administering corporal punishment a little too much is not new: elsewhere we have related the story of the headmaster who was said to have recognized his pupils' backsides more readily than their faces, and the film (whose name we always forget) in which the headmaster is rather comically trying to cane about a dozen boys at once with a single, ridiculously-long cane. CSR doesn't favor the corporal punishment of children - adults, especially those in government who wreck their countries, are another matter - but to conclude our discussion today, we believe it used to be administered in Mexican schools but is not common today, which is the situation in the U.S. as well.
