We wonder what the results would be if we were to tally spankings by profession, that is, are women in some occupations shown as being spanked more frequently than those in others? Certainly a lot of secretaries have been turned OTK and nurses have been spanked by both doctors and patients - but waitresses have occasionally felt the hand of justice also. Usually the punishment is administered for dumping a bowl of spaghetti on the customer's head or some such, but in this case, Popeye is teaching the waitress a lesson in respect. Apparently, she did not show sufficient respect for "the protecktors of yer country" - that is, the armed forces. We have to agree with Popeye that this is definitely cause for spanking.
We were going to hold off on this one until next Veteran's Day, but that's a long way off, so we decided to go ahead and post it now, right after last week's Popeye Spanks Olive #2. Of course, Segar draws in a "cartoony" style (a very good one, as it happens), but the OTK positioning is nice and realistic, and Popeye is spanking with enough vigor to bring a blush to the young woman's cheeks - both sets, probably!
