CSR readers were first introduced to George Wolfe's Touring Tessie, the mascot of Wham! (one of the four Wolf Books), back in Rivals of Humorama #3 and we saw her again in Rivals of Humorama #6 (but still no spanking). As far as we know (we're not sure how many more issues of Wham! are out there we haven't seen) we never do get to see her taken OTK, but next time we'll see her post-spanking, and right now we at least have the first hand-to-fanny contact Tessie encountered.
The gag involves the nuttiness of modern, non-representational art: it would be pretty hard to reach around to

Because of the angles, it may in fact have been more of a grope than a slap, but we'd like to think of it
as at least a single spank. It does seem to have startled Tessie to the point she drops her handbag (notice the
monogram "T.T." for "Touring Tessie"), so let's hope she felt at least a little sting.
