Bongo-style spankings are nothing new at CSR (see Humorama #146 and Rivals of Humorama #25), and while they're probably nobody's favorite, we're not going to pass them by, either. This one has even less than the usual gag, which revolves around the beatnik guy playing the bongo drums on his girlfriend's bottom because his drums are defunct - in short, a bongo-style spanking - with this happy hippie perhaps not even owning a set of bongos! The spankee looks rather out of it, but perhaps not completely zonked out, and her bottom is bare in keeping with contemporary standards. Not a bad effort, certainly, but probably not the equal of the earlier two bongo sessions. The artist is Pierre Davis, and he seems to have done a lot of work for Sex to Sexty including a number of covers, this cartoon having come from issue #14. It's possible that he's working under a pseudonym, but we don't have enough samples of his work yet to say more. |
