Longtime CSR contributor Alan managed to dig up two record album covers (remember those?) with actual spankings on them - no mean feat as the only other one that comes to mind is Kiss Me Kate, and then on only one of the several covers that were used over the years. This one is from the 1974 Italian film La Sculacciata (The Gamecock). The OTK positioning is fairly good, but why the bed is drawn in isn't clear and the common error of the "wrong hand spanking" detracts from the composition. The spanker does appear to have been sitting on something other than a chair, like a couch or a bed, in the original photo judging by his and the spankee's positions.

We managed to find a poster for the film, and unsurprisingly it uses the same photo. (As we've observed many times, spanking sells.) The lucky Antonio Salines spanks Sydne Rome in what was apparently a posed publicity still. Now we've all been disappointed by the many such stills from films in which no actual spanking took place, but this one avoids such misrepresentation by having a real spanking scene (below).

We couldn't find a clip of the spanking scene, but Chross did have a link in his data base to a still extract. (Data bases don't store lengthy binary data like pictures or videos but only links to these files, and the link from the DB to the video file was broken). It does take place on an actual bed, so the still photo used on the poster and album cover may have been taken there, but there are two big improvements here: Salines is spanking with the correct (left) hand, and Sydne Rome's bottom was bared - you can even see some red there!
