Doctor Cylon continues his series of the "incredible" spankings of Helen Parr with Incredible Spanking #8,

It appears that the professor misunderstands what kind of cane should be used for a caning. The pretty young student has a very attractive target!

Apparently the writer and artist didn't know that bending the spankee over a desk usually means an implement is to be used, while hand-spanking is best done OTK.

We've seen quite a few Spanish-language comics during our present series, but the "end" of those is finally in view and slated for April 15. Not that there's anything wrong with Spanish, and we should be grateful to our neighbors to the south for providing us with so many good spanking scenes. That leaves us about another six weeks before we begin Super-Spanking Summer in June. A quick perusal of the next relevant folder - "Modern Comics" - reveals I have more than six examples remaining, so the question is whether or not to resume the Comics Spankings Series in the fall. My inclination is to do so because I'm a systematic guy and I've had some of these things sitting around for years.

Not sure what we'll have in Doctor Cylon's Gallery after we finish toasting Helen Parr's rear end there on April 22, but I'll figure something out.

This week is a bit of a bust for me, not being much of an F/F fan... or f/F. maybe?

Your point is well-taken, B00m, and as you and everyone else at CSR knows, I've remarked many time in the past upon what I see as a peculiar obsession with F/F spankings among non-lesbian artists (whose interest in F/F is more natural). I mean, if any of us was thinking about a spanking pairing from The Incredibles, surely the first four notions that would come to mind would be (1) Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) spanks Helen, (2) Frozone spanks Helen, (3) Syndrome (the villain) spanks Helen, and (4) Dash (her son) spanks Helen. Now, what these four have in common is they're all M/F and poor Helen gets her fanny warmed in each of them - but that's how our minds work .

As far as I know, of these four obvious scenarios, only the Dash/Helen one was ever drawn by anyone, and we will be seeing it in the future (I really should send it to Doctor Cylon in case he hasn't seen it yet). Even Julius Zimmerman, when considering the possibilities, only produced drawings featuring Helen spanking Violet and Frozone and Syndrome both imagining Helen spanking Violet! (I won't be posting these, of course). Zimmerman must really have had a thing for the Helen/Violet pairing for some reason.

So we're back to the strange obsession with F/F spankings by straight male artists, which I'm afraid will continue to confound us in the future.

2. Life #45 (date unknown) – F/M, OTK, hand. “Doonesbury”-style strip by Dave Ward. Boy is promised he won’t be punished if he tells the truth, but gets spanked anyway.
3. Lisa Spanks the Crew – the only title we had for this. Seems to be from a published comic book. Lisa spanks two short men with a cane – bizarre on all counts. OTK, cane, F/M.
4. Judge Parker 5-09-1970 (King Features Syndicate) M/M, OTK, Hand, Sam Driver / Boy. By Nick Dallis & Harold LeDoux. Discovered by Phil Sweetspot.
5. Modern Comics #100 – M/M, bending over, billy club, Cop/Will Bragg. Guy is trying to sneak in to a ball game through a fence. Resembles Dixie Dugan paddling (q.v.) but that was a lot better.
6. Click 2 (1991 graphic novel by Milo Manara) – M/F, Senator/Niece, Bending Over, Whip. Unpleasant scene in every way.
7. Walter Lantz New Funnies #226 (December 1955, Dell) – M/M, bending over, elephants / Bad Man. Woody Woodpecker story. Looks like the guy deserved it but intended for children to be strictly humorous.

None of these are going to be posted, but as always if anyone wants to see them just drop me a line and I'll try to get you a copy. (I don't keep this stuff in the regular CSR folders, but I do have a folder set aside and most of it does go in there, with a few truly objectionable items simply getting deleted). A few of these were rejected because they involved minors, and I rejected others because they were X/M. (I hope I have a high bar for X/M stuff since almost no one seems to care for it.) That leaves Click 2 by Milo Manara, which I found simply too unpleasant. Yes, I will post M/F spankings I don't like in Comics Gallery Two, but in that case they need to be of some historical significance.

As a matter of fact, I've never cared for Manara's work, good draftsman though he is. To me, his material is sexual but not very erotic, and when his The Art of Spanking came out in the early 90s and I purchased a copy that I could ill-afford at the time, I was so disappointed with it I remember throwing it in one of the trash cans behind my apartment building - and I kept a lot of hard-copy spanking material back in those pre-internet days. Possibly some of you have seen bits and pieces of it out on the 'net somewhere.

One of the things that makes it more difficult for me to do the weekly updates after all these years is that with so many pages on the site, it's very easy to double-post something which I really don't want to do. Doc Cylon's Gallery is particularly challenging because in the past two years he's sent me additional versions of drawings I posted years ago. Usually I catch these before coding a new page for them, but sometimes not (there are now over 250 items in the Cylon Gallery).

This week I had completely coded a new page when I realized that two earlier versions of the Julius Zimmerman work had been posted years ago. I consolidated these older versions with the new ones on the old page (to reduce the coding effort I simply added the old ones to the new, of which there were more examples, and then changed the name of the page). I mention this in case anyone goes to the Gallery page and doesn't see a thumbnail of this art - it's way down the page. Of course I now have to scramble to provide something new for what was to be Cylon #253 (the earlier one, which remains, is #123 if anyone cares), but that's the way it goes.

And speaking of "all these years" I should talk about our 18th Anniversary, but I don't have any special events planned this month (luckily B00m did a special O. T. Katie strip for April Fools Day tomorrow) and I'm pretty tired right now from all that last-minute re-coding. Maybe next week, speaking of which:

Doctor Cylon continues his series of "incredible" spankings with new versions of Incredible Spanking #2

It's disappointing that no one has done a Helen/Bob spanking, but this one, showing the aftermath, is better than an F/F one.

The Comics Spankings Series continues with a spanking on the cover of a perverse Mexican comic book.

I like this one. The lady is very nicely positioned across the chopping block, showing off her delightful posterior. The meat cleaver is an unusual implement, but I guess it's what police investigators might call a "weapon of opportunity".

Maybe there should be a collection of "Unlikely Spanking Implements" somewhere. The strangest one I ever saw a still picture of was a fish. I can't imagine that one as a video!

I always suspected that the coal shovel in McLintock! may have been a way of "dialing back" the eroticism of the spanking, just to make sure that the censors wouldn't block the scene.

Justice is done in the conclusion of B00m's two-part April Fools Day story - and if you want to know to exactly whom it was done, you'll have to go over to B00m's gallery to find out! Thanks to B00m as always for taking up the slack around here.

I explore in some detail the question of whether this week's Mexican spanking "Professor Pincer Spanks his Fiancee" could have been reprinted from an American comic book, but whether it was or not - I think not, although some questions remain - we can enjoy the first spanking from a martial arts comic book ever discovered. (Martial arts comics were around in the 70s for those few CSR readers who may not have been around themselves - most of us seem to be getting on in years and probably remember the 70s clearly). Not coincidentally, this was the time Kung-Fu was successful on television. Spanking may not be a natural element of this genre or an official martial arts defense, but it sure works for Professor Pincer in this story!

Finally, upon seeing Doctor Cylon's Incredible Spanking #13 your first reaction may be, "Hey - whatever happened to #12? I don't remember it."

Well, what happened is too complicated to go into details, but basically I had to pull the page at the last minute because I discovered the spanking was already in Doc's gallery from years ago. A new #12 will be coded and presented on 04/29, but in the mean time we'll go ahead with the "old" #13 and #14. I mentioned last week the difficulty I have these days not running into this problem because of the size of the Doctor Cylon Gallery and his prolific output and don't need to cry about it any more here. It's really just a routine editorial hazard, but even small problems seem pretty big these days.
