condorito's girl friend yayita bends over a car door

Condorito's girl friend Yayita bends over in Condorito #46.

The long-running Chilean comic strip Condorito (Little Condor) is not the likeliest place to find a spanking. Created by Chilean cartoonist Rene´ Rios (a/k/a Pepo) in 1949, its format consists of short gag strips rather than long stories, and when a character (either Condorito himself, the star of the strip, or a minor character) "gets" the gag, he falls over backward with his feet rising overhead - an old bit of visual shorthand the origin of which we don't know. (Hi & Sy, Those Goofy Geezers, which used to appear in The Comic Reader many years ago, is the first example that comes to mind, followed by the completely unrelated Time Bokkan animated series from Japan, where the three villains - see Zenderman Spanking & Humiliation to be reminded of what they look like - would often fall over backward). This formula would appear to preclude having a strip end with a spanking, and most often in humor comics the spanking, if one occurs, is placed at the end. That of course still leaves the possibility of a spanking on some sort of splash panel, or with strips complied into comic book form featuring a spanking on the cover. This latter is what we're going to see here, but first let's look at an example page featuring Condorito's girl friend Yayita, whose car breaks down in traffic.

"Would you like to see what's wrong with my car? Meanwhile, I am charged with continuing to sound your horn."

Here the driver is the one taking the "plop!". He would certainly have been justified in spanking Yayita for asking him to fix her car while she blows his horn. She does bend over rather nicely, though.

condorito spanks a sexy young woman ostensibly to cure her hiccups

Spanking cover of Condorito, issue number unknown but thought to be somewhere close to #70 based on the sale prices ($1.35 in Chile). Co-discovered by Dan Rivera and El Manto Negro. Posted by the Web-Ed on 11/05/2021.

Condorito usually has a different occupation in each strip; evidently continuity between separate episodes is not a high priority although there is a rather large cast of supporting characters who turn up repeatedly. For the purposes of this cover he's now a doctor and prescribes a spanking to cure a young and pretty patient's hiccups: "Are you sure doctor, that this is the way you get rid of the hiccups?" Condorito is sure - and we are, too. wink

The OTK positioning is quite good, and the three-quarters-view viewing angle allows us a good look at the spankee's nice round bottom. There is a similarity here with some of the Humorama doctor-spanks-patient cartoons, the difference being that those are mostly overtly disciplinary with the doctor believing that the patient is tardy, spoiled, or neurotic, but only in the last category is the doctor actually trying to cure the patient's illness.

We think it was CSR Resident Artist Dan Rivera who first posted this one on the CSR Bulletin Board although we can't find it there now. The highly-regarded spanking artist El Manto Negro also sent us a scan so we'll credit them as the co-discoverers.

Are there any more M/F Condorito spankings? We think it's unlikely because of the format, as we explained above. However, we're still going through a large number of digitally-scanned issues we had sent to us from Venezuela several years ago before socialism caused that country's complete collapse. So far all we have for our efforts is Condorito himself getting spanked by some guy with a fish, which is not exactly what we're looking for.
