Well, on into December we go, somehow still here despite all obstacles. I might not be able to do any more "Missed Opportunities" for a while, though - we'll see. I'll certainly have some more when we get back to Patsy Walker in January. I'm still researching her Golden Age appearances, but it's a slow process, and I've noticed a few storylines that could have ended with a spanking but didn't and wondered if that was because we had entered the "dead zone" of 1956 (the end of the Golden Age) to 1965. Probably not, because parental spankings were the one kind still taking place, and much as we'd all love to see Patsy spanked by her boyfriend Buzz Baxter as far as I know it never happened. (The latest known Golden Age spanking for Patsy is the last one I posted, from July 1952, although there is one that we'll see in January of her rival Hedy Wolfe from 1956 at her own request as she bends over in the last panel).

I've trotted out the old Christmas decorations this week - no time to put up any new ones - while we continue our mini-series of contributions from Alan with another racy record album cover, and Doctor Cylon begins a new series featuring Jessica Rabbit! Also, I'm doing one last post under "Bulletin Board Tips and Tricks" to finish up a series there. This one is how to make ordered and unordered lists, and while it's probably of limited use to anyone but myself I thought I'd put it out there just in case. While the board does have other features I haven't covered, I don't think they'd be too useful to anyone.

I'm under the gun once again this week and had to do some extra work in the middle of uploading the new material because I misspelled "capuccetto" in several places (I don't have any problem with English spellings but I don't read Italian and if you misspell a file name it doesn't work on the site because it doesn't match those places where you spelled it correctly), plus everyone's too busy this time of year to read a long post, so I'll keep it short. Doctor Cylon has done a lot with Jessica Rabbit, and we'll probably have to end the current series before we exhaust this material, but I think CSR readers will be glad to know that Julius Zimmerman is a large reason for this because he was obviously quite captivated by the character and did many sketches of her in various poses. We won't see them all grouped together, but today's is only the first of many.

Our series on Alan's contributions is quite eclectic, as we've already seen it range from fakes like "The Mystery of the Three Red Rears" and strange spanking record covers like last week's Peneranda. This week we've got an Italian comic and it's rather cute.

And speaking of comics, Richard Windsor had a couple of interesting items on his site, and was gracious enough to mention CSR so the least I can do is return the favor. Some you will have already seen, but there were two rather interesting ones I didn't have in my files. Based on what we've seen before and now Maestros Las Chalanas, it appears Mexican men love to see women with generous-sized rear ends getting spanked - and who are we to disagree with them? Yeah, I noticed that, too. I'd guess it was the 1980s or 90s, when a lot of European adult graphic novels were being published. Come to think of it, I just might have one or two items on my own bookshelf that I purchased during that time that we've never seen on CSR, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (I think that one had a bad cropping, if memory serves). Of course stuff like Ranxerox, which I didn't like anyway, is out because the heroine-spankee is only about 13 years old.

Anyway, I expect to be packing up the stuff next year and I'll take a look through it then.
