This is our last update for March. April marks CSR's 19th Anniversary, and there will be lots of stuff going on including new fiction from D. M. Sherwood and, at long last, "Who was the ACES Artist?" which I've been promising to do for at least 13 years . I think I'm going to break it up into two parts which will be presented over three weeks (beginning two weeks from now), if that makes any sense. We'll see 23 samples of this artist's spanking cartoons and then plenty of examples from comic books as I reveal his identity.

Doctor Cylon continues his Princess Peach series with a look back at Princess Peach #1 adding an alternate version I didn't know about at the time, and then

the Good Doctor switches princesses to bring us Princess Daphne #1, which is also Doctor Cylon #300!

Yes, this is the 300th drawing in the Good Doctor's gallery, but in fact the total number of his contributions is a little higher than that when we count a few pieces he's got elsewhere, I believe in the Fiction category and in Comics Gallery 1. Why not celebrate by going over to the Doctor Cylon Gallery and skimming the 300 thumbnails there to remind yourself of how much there is in that gallery? Thanks for the 300, Doc, and for CSR readers I can tell you there's lot's more where that came from!

We go into a frenzy over Frenzy, another MAD magazine imitator from the 1950s, and its one known spanking.

Resident Artist Hugob00m seemingly created a new holiday called "No Spanking Saturday" that sounds like it might follow "Holy Thursday" and "Good Friday" - at least if you're a brat looking to get away with something! Perhaps that's what lures O. T. Katie into a false sense of security, for a closer look at the calendar would have informed her that Eastertide was still some time in the future when she misbehaves on Saturday, April 1 and earns the proper punishment of foolish females...

B00m did this extra piece for us, for which I'm grateful, and he plans to get back to his regular storyline next week with a new adventure featuring Katelyn and her role in Princess Callipygia.

Frenzy only ran six issues, if I remember correctly. I forget now how many of them I've been able to get ahold of, but I think it's only two and the rather strange spankings we see this week from issue #1 are the only ones known. In fact, only one of them is of any real interest - Jack spanking his mother - but I included the reverse perverse spanking since it occurs just before the good one. Very strange material here!

Extra Bonus Feature: April is CSR's 19th Anniversary month, and to help get it off to a good start D. M. Sherwood has some new fiction for us, Teacher's Guilt. In fact it's a very short piece, which is good because I tend to go on for so long! I have two more stories from David planned for this month as well.

If you think American drug laws are severe (and I do), we need to remember that they're a lot more severe outside the West, as that foolish female basketball player found out not too long ago when she took drugs into Russia. This story takes place in the Far East, at a school where three adult schoolgirls have been caught with cannabis. Something must be done...

Next Week: Doctor Cylon begins a new series on Penelope Pitstop, we get back to the Comic Book Series with the first of two spankings from Blackhawk, and at long last we present the first half of Part 1 of our earth-shattering exposé "Who Was the ACES Artist?" .

It must sound strange to refer to "the first half of Part 1" because you might think, "Well, you could just break the piece into three parts then." It seemed more natural to me given that we're going to be seeing 22 separate spanking drawings that might be too much for one week, yet I thought this presentation along with some critical commentary should comprise Part 1 leaving Part 2 to outline the stylistic evidence for the ACES Artist's real identity along with one final "spanker" just for fun! So, it should be easier reading the first time through and yet still be divided logically into two parts for future reference, if that makes any sense.

I wasn't aware of Frenzy magazine. Most of MAD's imitators suffered from the fact that MAD had better artists. However, the unknown artist who drew this page was comparable to MAD's artists. (Maybe he WAS one of MAD's artists working off-the-record)

Most of our anti-drug laws are a direct result of greed and corruption at high levels of government. I can only guess that countries that have stricter anti-drug laws are EVEN MORE greedy and corrupt.

If this was a serious story, the hypocrisy and smug self-righteousness would be disgusting. However, since it's a light-hearted spanking story... I like it! Thank you, D.M. Sherwood!

Great Happy to see Princess Peach again specially that the Mario movie is out and man is her bottom red Nice! Never heard of Frenzy wish I had ! really love this spoof on Westerns and Jack and The Bean Stalk but what stands out is Jack giving his mother a spanking across his lap. well Jack is the man of the house being is father is not there no more Excellent role reversal comic The DM Sherwood story isn`t my cup of tea wouldn't describe the lovely young Asian women`s bottom as Pale Bananas and their bodies as Chipmunks also even though the girls was caught with drugs the teacher punishing them was the real villain ! Ugly hateful story that`s a real turn off for me!! Thanks Be Safe!!

Glad you liked Frenzy, Butch - it's the kind of thing I love to do because I know that it's very unlikely to be found on any other spanking site. Sorry you didn't care for "Teacher's Guilt," but D. M. Sherwood writes a wide range of spanking stories that could be set anywhere and feature any sort of characters, so you may like his future offerings better. This week we've got "A Goddess Spanked" which might be more to your taste, and in two weeks we'll see something else - if I ever finish coding it.

2. More new fiction from D. M. Sherwood: A Goddess Spanked.

The Good Doctor seems to have been quite taken with Penelope Pitstop, and so did Julius Zimmerman. I must admit she'd have been pretty far down on my list of likely spankees, but then artists sometimes see visual possibilities that we non-artists do not. Thus we have Doc's six variations on Zimmerman's original, and all in one place.

David Sherwood came up with an unusual fantasy piece in "A Goddess Spanked". Personally, I like to see the highborn female taken down a peg with a good spanking, and that's what happens here, although in a highly unorthodox fashion.

3. Resident Artist Hugob00m returns to his story featuring Katie's daughter Kaylin, Princess Callipygia. In this episode, the Princess returns home to face a reckoning, and you can guess what form that reckoning takes...

It amazes me how B00m can come up with these stories so quickly, but luckily for us, he can!

4. After years of sitting around in our files, the first of two spankings from Blackhawk finally sees the light of day!

I actually somehow overlooked this when it was added to Digital Comics Museum. Somebody else didn't, but all they posted was the spanking panel and as I recall it was one of my general internet searches that turned it up in an obscure location. With no publication information, I sat on it for a long time while trying hard to find out where it came from. One good thing about my travails is that I obtained a long string of reprints of Blackhawk from its DC years and eliminated them as the source.

We do have another spanking we're going to see next week even though I don't know where it came from because I didn't want to make anyone wait another five years while I try to find the remaining issues of Blackhawk. I think it's unlikely that there's a third spanking out there, but I won't give up on the series even though right now I prefer to concentrate on searching Timely/Marvel Golden Age comics instead.

I always knew that "Who Was the ACES Artist?" would be quite an undertaking, which is one reason I held back from writing it all these years (since 2010 at least). The other reasons were that I hoped to compile more evidence for my thesis, this hope being eventually realized, and that I did a number of other special features which on top of the regular searching, writing, editing, coding, and technical work to keep the site up and running already took up more time than I could spare.

But this year I decided the very next special I did would have to be this one, and this week we have the first half of Part 1.

That probably sounds more confusing than all those King Henry plays of Shakespeare (The First Part of King Henry IV, etc.). Actually, it's only that I decided to present it in two parts, the first with most of the spanking art and the second detailing how I deduced the Artist's identity from it and from the key fact that he had done a lot of work at Marvel. But Part 1 was so long I decided to split it up, and we'll see the second half next week. In fact, I discovered today I had left out one drawing so that's one more spanking we can enjoy next week.

Wow! You've got a lot for us this week!

The Good Doctor seems to have been quite taken with Penelope Pitstop, and so did Julius Zimmerman. She isn't the first to come to my mind either when it comes to cartoon characters who might to need have their bottoms reddened. But Mr. Zimmerman has given her a nice round target, and a "come hither" look on her face, while Dr. Cylon has added the appropriate color.

One thing I might find fault with is that he drew her boobs too big. Which is something Julius Zimmerman... and Bill Ward too... did frequently. Don't get me wrong! I like big boobs,.. like the ones you see in Bill Wenzel's, Dan De Carlo's, and Herc Ficklen's cartoons. (I might add, my own character, O.T. Katie, has quite a pair!) But I think there are limits.

That was unexpected. and a lot of fun. With his colorful desctiptive prose, I could see all of it in my mind.

Thanks for the plug! Originally, I had an incomplete idea for a fairy tale with the traditional "Once upon a time" beginning and a "They lived hapilly ever after" ending. Then it occured to me that I could use bits and prices of my unfinished fairy tale as isolated scenes of a movie that Kaylyn is working on. I hope Kaylyn's fans enjoy seeing her get paddled in the role of the princess.

This is the last known spanking from Blackhawk and I think it's better than the first, but unhappily it's exact origin is still unknown. I wish there were more spankings in the strip, and it is still possible that something more is out there, but it seems unlikely. Of course I'll continue the search when the remaining issues become available to me.

Regarding the pne labled, "And convinced her on their wedding night who was in charge", it was, as you said, part of a story. I don't have it saved, but I know I saw it ages ago. That picture was the highlight of the story, although it wan't the only spanking for the female character.
