We continue Tim's series of Humorama Pastiches with "Backstage". There is a definite flavor of Humorama in the gag: "Most fans are content with an autograph!" The same general idea - a spanking being over and above the regular routine - can be found in Dan DeCarlo's "Spanked Jaywalker" and Bill Wenzel's cop spanking a woman for walking on the grass. The tone here is a little drier, but the main difference is that the star-spankee seems rather pleased as her fan warms her fanny! Really nice OTK positioning in terms of the spankee's position considered in isolation; as was so commonly the case in the actual Humorama spanking cartoons, for practical purposes her hips are far enough back that she would tend to slide backward off the spanker's lap.
