More new fiction from D. M. Sherwood: Retired Spanker Boasts, in which a now-retired spanker regales us with tales of his past spanking adventures in a futuristic sci-fi setting. We lost count of how many bottoms he warmed, but the word "asses" appears fully eleven times!

This is quite an unusual idea: a now-retired professional(!) spanker recalls some of the memorable spankings he's given over the years, and because this is set in a futuristic world in which people can travel around the galaxy, he must have really put some mileage on the ol' spaceship to get to all those naughty girl bottoms. I hope everyone likes this one.

Extra Bonus Feature: We finally reveal the secret of "Who Was the ACES Artist?" in Part 2 of this incredible exposé!

O.K., this is the biggie! How much research went into this one, how many images had to be prepared/altered, how much time was spent poring through old comics, I can't say, but the actual writing and coding began at the beginning of March and continued until last night, so this is definitely a tour de force. Unfortunately, it's also rather long and I now wish I had presented it over four weeks instead of three, but anyway, it's done now. You may need to take a break after reading it and staring at all those images for a while.

I hope everyone enjoys seeing this mystery solved or is at least impressed by the massive effort it involved. Comments can be posted here, but I may later move them over to the ACES topic for the benefit of future CSR readers who aren't with us yet.

Doctor Cylon continues his series on Penelope Pitstop with Paddling Penelope #6.

This was a nice drawing by Jeff Van Schkijaar. Penelope has a very pretty face, and... more in our area of interest, a prominent, well-rounded posterior! The Doc did a subtle job of adding a little redness. She looks as is she got a mild-to-moderate hand spanking. Lovely!

Resident Artist Hugob00m continues his story featuring Katie's daughter Kaylin, Princess Callipygia. In this episode, the Princess (Kaylin) is ordered to marry the prince of a neighboring kingdom. It's a political union and the Princess protests, forgetting that "No" is not a word you use to your daddy the King. Besides, the young prince has some spanking notions of his own!

I hope Katie's fans have enjoyed seeing her grown daughter getting spanked for the sake of her acting career. There'll be one more episode of Kaylyn shooting a scene for The Spanking Adventures of Princess Callipygia the Magnificent, and then Katie will once more be the focus.

Great research on the ACES artist.I had someone else pegged as I thought it was a different artist altogether. My choice was Milton Caniff as several of the charters seemed to be more Steve Canyon and Terry And The Pirates than Marvel,but you did show compelling evidence. I did enjoy the art though whoever the artist was.great pictures that you used.I really have enjoyed your Doc Cylon postings.I would love more if you found some more otk ones as all the characters would be better otk ( I know, I know personal preference) thanks for all you share and enjoy your day.

Glad you liked the updates, Butch! Doctor Cylon has a little more of Penelope Pitstop for us, plus I've choosen to update one of his "Ariel" pages as we wind up the PP series for reasons that will be apparent in a week or two.

We actually have a little more from Tim than I realized; he sent me Pastiches up through #16 and a couple of other items I don't think we can get to until the fall. I'll have to decide if I want to save #16 for fall or overlap it with the beginning of Super-Spanking Summer, which as you point out is now only three weeks away!

Did I mention I found a one-swatter applied to The Blonde Phantom's behind in a Golden Age comic recently? Well, I did, and we'll be seeing it soon! (Remember, we saw the middle-aged Phantom getting paddled by The Spanker in a She-Hulk comic a while back.)

Let's see, what was lost last time? Oh yes - about CSR's Anniversary. As everyone knows, it was our 19th as a site, plus Doctor Cylon reached the 300 mark! What I didn't announce in April because there just wasn't time was that we reached another milestone, 1000 entries in the Comic Spanking Data Base You know, when I started the thing back in 2010, I thought we might eventually reach 200 spankings, but 1000 spankings? And I've got some more in the files waiting to go in there, including Blonde Phantom and some much worse stuff I don't even remember right now.

Also, I think we're positioned to achieve another important milestone during next year's 20th Anniversary. CSR stands at 1890 pages right now (actually a little higher since I did the count a few weeks ago), which means we should be able to reach 2000 pages next April. (Assuming two updates per week that are new pages rather than updates of old pages). Of course I wish I could get back to three or four updates per week, but that just can't happen, at least not on a regular basis. I'm pretty exhausted after the ACES Special but will try to keep up two updates per week and maybe even open the mailbox again.

Who knows what new fiction D. M. Sherwood may have sent me by now?

I don't think you sound dumb, Butch. To make sure we "get" the gag, we need to bear some things in mind. Remember, Tim in these pastiches is trying to imitate the spirit of the classic Humorama cartoons, and to a lesser extent their style. The Fortune-teller here seems willing and eager to receive a spanking just as the Humorama spankees sometimes were in a few of the cartoons by Frank Beaven, Homer Provence, and even Kirk Stiles. Thus, I doubt the customer was angry; he was merely a spanko and when she, as an honest-to-goodness soothsayer, realized this, she responded positively since she truly wanted someone to spank her.

Are Spanking Parties really on the decline remember back in the late 90` getting a invite to Shadow Lane spanking party being I brought plenty of their videos and magazines! didn`t go but did get a video of the party anyway this is a great drawing of a young woman having her bottom cane !also like the facial expression on the faces of the women who are next for all of us Mclintock fans Greatest spanking scene in movie history due to the super exciting build up before the spanking! there a short preview of that movie hostess by Mrs. Maureen O` Hara on Youtube !it runs under 5 minutes and there is a really great unedited version of her spanking by John Wayne that is worth the watch it`s in Black and white! Apparently this prevew was put together shortly before the release of McLintock! and shown on television. The same raw footage that was shot for the movie was used, but edited slightly differently. Fans of Maureen O'Hara who loved seeing her get spanked should see this preview.

Glad you like the Penelope Pitstop Series, Butch - as you see, Doctor Cylon feels the same way you do about Miss Pitstop!

I followed B00m's link to the Maureen O'Hara clip (more about that in the next post), and you're right - it's superb! I especially liked the the sound of the prop shovel (one hopes it was made of something more forgiving than metal) as it impacted Mrs. McLintock's rear! Those sound like very genuine swats to me, and I believe it's well established that is the case. (John Wayne also laid it on pretty well in Donovan's Reef, actually driving the dust from the seat of Elizabeth Allen's skirt )

As to the general decline of spanking parties, I think Butch is referring to a post I wrote last February over on the Miscellaneous Spanking Forum titled How Does the Future of Spanking Parties Look in 2023? and the thread of which it is a part.

As far as I know, there is no reason to alter my assessment of three months ago now, although I admit I've been far too busy to make any inquiries about this year's parties, if any. The ACES Artist feature alone used up all the time I really should spend on Spanko Stuff for this year, and I simply can't squeeze any party research in. But sadly, unless we get someone involved with a lot of money to throw around, I don't see the party situation improving any time soon.

P.S. After writing this, I finally realized that Butch was more likely referring to Tim's latest Humorama Pastiche, #15 - Party Girl, which was part of the 05/26 updates. Since we're on that subject, I'll simply mention that I have one more Pastiche to go, plus a few other pieces by Tim, and we'll be seeing them next fall, assuming I can remember to post them then.
